St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Holiday Ball

HOLIDAY BALL COAT CHECKS on DECEMBER 5th, 2009!

ARRIVE IN CHORAL UNIFORM BY 5:00PM FOR INSTRUCTIONAL MEETING WITH HOSPITAL PERSONNEL

Saturday, December 5th, Lincoln students will perform coat checks at the 2009 St. Joseph Mercy Hospital's Annual Holiday Ball.

Plan to work from 5:00pm-1:00am. Bring reading material for slow periods. A St. Joe representative and former Lincoln Choral Booster made this opportunity possible for us. Proceeds will serve to reduce the student travel cost for our NYC city trip! Students who meet expected obligations for this event will acquire NHS Community service hours!

GENERAL FUNDRAISING GUIDELINES

Fundraising occurs throughout the school year and involves students and our boosters. Mrs. Nevins has been responsible for documenting and updating student travel accounts; however, the Boosters support each fundraising project, take part in distribution of goods, and maintain funds accrued from fundraising. While some fundraising profits are specified for student travel accounts and used for choir travel, choir clothing items and such, if a student drops out of the choral program, his/her account is automatically deposited into the scholarship and awards fund. An account can be transferred only to the student's sibling or for parent trip expenses.

This year we already have three fundraisers organized for fall to include a brochure sale with a new company (delivery in October); our 16th annual Holiday Greenery sale, distributed the Saturday prior to Thanksgiving; with a repeat of the Savory Cookie Dough products (delivery in December). Students will want to be talking up these products to family and friends in order to get the most out of their fundraising projects. Due dates and distribution dates will be posted on the choir calendar posted on this website.

If you are a parent with availability during or immediately following the school day and would be interested in assisting Mrs. Nevins with fundraising distribution in October, November, and December, please contact Mrs. Nevins, as distribution of these products takes her away from teaching. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated!
